Turmeric
Turmeric’s benefits are well documented in the medical literature. Curcumin is one of the most well-studied bioactive ingredients in turmeric. It can reduce the formation of fat tissue, therefore, may contribute to lower body fat and body weight gain. Curcumin may be useful to treat and prevent obesity-related chronic diseases. As curcumin interacts with several key signal transduction pathways in the body, it could help with insulin resistance, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, and other inflammatory symptoms associated with obesity and metabolic disorders.
Cinnamon
The warming spice cinnamon has been valued for its medicinal, culinary and natural preservative power. Its benefits include: anti-inflammation, brain boosting function, soothing sore throat or cough, anti-cancer properties and diabetes support. Mostly importantly it helps to support weight loss by reducing blood glucose concentration and enhances insulin sensitivity.
Ginger
Ginger has a very long tradition of being very effective in alleviating symptoms of gastrointestinal distress. Ginger is regarded as carminative, which is a substance that smoothes and relaxes the intestinal tract; it promotes the elimination of intestinal gas and intestinal spasmolytic. Ginger also contains gingerols, which are very potent anti-inflammatory compounds.
